JW Cooper features the Swiss watch maker Dubey & Schaldenbrand.

All Dubey & Schaldenbrand watches use 100% Swiss-made parts.

Each timepiece is assembled and controlled exclusively in Switzerland and is fully registered. Foregoing any foreign parts that might be less expensive, Dubey & Schaldenbrand chooses its suppliers on the quality of their work.

The components are only of the highest quality including case materials. The Stainless Steel is reference 316l(or surgical steel) and the gold is 18k Rose Gold. The hands are skeletonized and then filled with a luminous matter to enhance readibility or, solid when the design of the watch requires it.

Each movement, whether modern or vintage, has been meticulously assembled and controlled by Master watchmakers, and then hand engraved by specially trained Swiss craftsmen. A first control is made before the movement is cased, then a second after the whole watch has been assembled and finally, a third three weeks after.

The final control is vital as it is only after a certain time that the lubricants settle. It is for these reasons that Dubey & Schaldenbrand gained its reputation for quality timepieces.
